Barbara and I went to Berkley Secretarial School together every morning on the 168 bus at Larch Avenue and Cedar Lane. We mashed our hats on together in the elevator that were required garb in our day:) She was a sweet girl and I'm sorry to see that she is not with us anymore.
Barbara was a lovely, elegant woman. She had a unique quiet grace. In high School it seemed like she was womanly ( in the best sense) while most of us were still silly, teen-age girls who did not have much of a clue as to what a real woman was like. I also saw her at her home when she was a wife and mother and she did not change a bit. Still lovely and full of grace
