I have thought of Wanda over the years and always with the thought that she left us way too early. She had a smile for everyone and always a kind word.
I remember Wanda from Longfellow Elementary School. At that time she lived across the street and we would have long talks after the short walk to her house. She was always very pleasant and seemed genuinely interested in what you had to say. I will never forget her much too early death.
